Alzheimer's Memory Walk And You

Alzheimer’s disease is a brain disorder that was named for German physician Alois Alzheimer, who first described it in 1906. Alzheimer's disease is progressive and fatal brain disease and if you have been personally affected by it as I have you know how important something like the Alzheimer's Memory Walk really is.

I find it quite sad that Alzheimer's is the 6th leading cause of death in the U.S.and that approximatly every 71 seconds, someone is diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease.I know I will be looking forward to the Alzheimer's Memory Walk this year and I am sure many others with family and friends suffering with Alzheimer's will be there too. It is really a time for all of us to get together and show our support for our family, friends and each other and to even make new friends at the Alzheimer's Memory Walk. I hope if you are reading this blog you take the time to learn about Alzheimer’s disease and the Alzheimer's Memory Walk.

Actually, when my lovey told me last night that she saw an 80 or something year old woman carrying eight books borrowed from the library here, i was thinking about Alzheimers... I have read somewhere before that constant brain usage or exercise will help one stay aways from this sickness...

I never knew it causes death... all i know is, it makes a person act ridiculous or smething and be out of a regular mind.. so bad this Alzheimers huh but at least as you have mentioned, one can walk away from it. Good stuff.
